DALLAS, Texas — Dallas-based Skiles Group received the general construction contract for additions to Mimbres Memorial Hospital in Deming, N.M. Construction costs are about $5.3 million.Construction is under way and includes a 16,000-square-foot addition for a new operating department and a new emergency department for the southwest New Mexico hospital. Plans call for the operating department to include two operating rooms to replace the existing rooms and support facilities. The emergency department will include seven new examination rooms and two trauma rooms and will replace the existing rooms.
