Matthew Nicholson Receives ACHA Certification

Goodwyn Mills Cawood architect Matthew Nicholson has been accepted into the American College of Healthcare Architects as a Board-Certified healthcare architect. Nicholson serves as the firm’s healthcare practice leader, based in Atlanta, Georgia. With more than 17 years in the AEC industry, his experience includes vertical expansions, department renovations, campus additions, facility master planning and more.

Nicholson has been the project lead on several healthcare developments during his time with GMC, including facilities for Grady Health, Baptist Health, Washington County Regional Medical Center and Wellstar Health System.

ACHA requires its certificate holders actively contribute to enhancing healthcare architecture for the benefit of the public. They are expected to engage in ethical practices, uphold rigorous standards of specialized continuing education and contribute substantially to the existing knowledge base. Nicholson is now among 435 ACHA Certified architects.
