Jefferson Health’s new Honickman Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has opened. The center is a 19-story, 462,000-square-foot flagship medical building. The building is a multi-specialty outpatient care center and offers accessibility for patients needing additional support and quiet spaces with sensory-friendly furniture designed with neurodiverse patients in mind. Children’s Hospital New Orleans has been selected by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation as the recipient of one of its newest Seacrest Studios, a studio for pediatric patients to explore the creative realms of radio, television and new media. Walker’s Imaginarium, a first-of-its kind child enrichment center planned for the main campus of Children’s Hospital New Orleans in partnership with nonprofit Kids Join The Fight, will be home to the foundation’s first studio in Gulf South — and the only one in Louisiana.
