ASSE Seeks Working Group Members to Update National Standard ASSE/IAPMO 6000

ASSE International is seeking members for a working group to update ASSE/IAPMO 6000 Professional Qualifications Standard for Medical Gas Systems Personnel.

The ASSE 6000 working group members will be assisting the Professional Qualifications Standards Committee with the continued development of this American National Standard. The working groups will operate in accordance with ASSE’s accredited procedures for standards development: IAPMO/ASSE PP-1 (Policies and Procedures for Consensus Development of American National Standards).

The working group meeting will be held in person in February. The date and location will be announced as soon as they are finalized. The deadline to apply is Jan. 15. Applications may be downloaded through the following URL: asse-plumbing.org/media/30630/asse_committee_app.pdf.

Industry stakeholders — including installers, manufacturers, plumbing professionals, building owners and managers, engineers, AHJs and the general public — are invited and encouraged to apply to participate.
