Ambulatory Surgery Center Breaks Ground at Lee’s Summit Medical Center in Missouri
Hammes broke ground on a new ambulatory surgery center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City. The center is being developed on behalf of HCA Midwest Health, a part of HCA Healthcare, in collaboration with 16 physician partners. Project partners include ACI Boland Architects and JE Dunn Construction.
Hammes is serving as the developer for the new multispecialty surgery center, which will include orthopedic, spine, gastroenterology, general surgery and ancillary services. The 18,800-square-foot facility is expected to open in late 2024.
The center will help meet the needs of the growing community southeast of Kansas City with the opportunity for increased access and convenience for patients to receive care in an outpatient setting.
