Page Plants Roots in Charleston, South Carolina with New Office
Page (Page Southerland Page, Inc), has opened its newest Southeast office in Charleston, South Carolina. Managing director, Sarah Walter, AIA, is a Charleston native and Clemson University graduate who moved home from Atlanta to lead the new office. Her expertise in healthcare planning and design and strategic master planning has served clients nationwide, including Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, University of Virginia and Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.
Each member of the Page Charleston team has a personal connection to the region, including Matthew Chalifoux, FAIA, an architect specializing in modernization and preservation. Some notable Page projects in the area include the Charleston Customhouse Feasibility Study and Seismic Evaluation, which provided recommendations to address structural deficiencies, mitigate seismic risks and modernize the historic building for continued service. The newly completed North Charleston VA Clinic is improving access to care for more than 3,600 families in the greater Charleston area. Additionally, the firm successfully executed the renovation of the University of South Carolina Science and Technology Building and the Medical University of South Carolina Children’s Emergency Department.
