New Micro-Hospital for UF Health Tops Out
A significant construction milestone has been reached on the UF Health Ocala Neighborhood Hospital, located in Florida. The 150,000-square-foot facility has topped out. When complete, it will enhance access to a variety of healthcare services and specialized clinic services within the community.
Situated prominently just off Interstate 75 on 28 acres, the three-story medical campus will feature an emergency room, an inpatient unit, an imaging center, surgery services, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation services, a pharmacy, food services, and medical offices. The site will also be master planned to allow for future growth. The hospital’s design will be functional and efficient, allowing allow staff to flow between the emergency department and inpatient departments with ease and use inpatient beds as overflow.
Project partners include Charles Perry Partners, Inc., Eppstein Uhen Architects and Covider Health.
