Ground Broken for Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital in Phoenix Area
Ground has been broken for a new Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital in Peoria—a suburb of Phoenix Arizona. The hospital will offer inpatient rehabilitation care for people with debilitating illnesses and injuries such as stroke and brain injury, as well as other complex neurological and orthopedic conditions. The project team includes Adolfson & Peterson Construction, Callaway Architecture and America Development & Investments LLC.
The three-story, custom-built hospital will sit on 3.71 acres, encompass 49,128 square feet and feature 40 patient beds (20-bed nursing units on each floor), two high-tech physical therapy gyms, administrative office, and dining and kitchen spaces, as well as various back-of-the-house support spaces. AP will also manage a complete interior build-out as well as all associated site work and utility services.
Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital Peoria is slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2022.
