HGA Welcomes Deepa K. Balgi in San Francisco Office

Deepa K. Balgi, RA, has joined HGA as associate vice president and principal in the Science & Technology market group in San Francisco. She will focus on the Northern California market while collaborating across firm-wide offices and practice groups in healthcare, higher education, public and corporate.

Balgi has more than 25 years of experience as a planner, designer, manager, programmer and team leader. She has designed research and laboratory projects for such leading clients as the University of California San Francisco, Stanford University, California Department of General Services, National University of Singapore, Northwestern University, University of Pennsylvania Health System, Texas A&M University, Pfizer, Merck, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Before joining HGA, Balgi led planning and design of education, research and laboratory projects at architecture firms in the San Francisco Bay Area.
