Beaumont Hospital – Troy Receives Largest Donation in its History

TROY, Mich. — Frances and Dominic Moceri will be recognized Nov. 3 at Beaumont Hospital – Troy in Troy, Michigan, for their donation of the largest financial gift in the hospital’s 38-year history. The gift will fund construction of the Frances and Dominic Moceri Family Learning Center and the Frances and Dominic Moceri Medical Intensive Care Unit, as well as establish the Moceri Learning Center Endowment.

The 20,000-square-foot Dominic and Frances Moceri Family Learning Center will serve as an educational hub for physicians, nurses and other clinicians at Beaumont Hospital – Troy, as well as students of Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.

The center will also be a hub for community health and wellness offering events and programs for the public. Additionally, the gift allows for completion of a 12-bed, private-room Medical Intensive Care Unit which will be located on the fifth floor of the hospital’s Critical Care Tower. The area is currently shell space and the Moceri gift will complete, equip and furnish the unit.
