DeAngelis Diamond Healthcare Group Awarded $15.8M Rehabilitation Hospital Project
NEW ORLEANS, La. — DeAngelis Diamond Healthcare Group will begin construction in May on the new Cobalt Rehabilitation Hospital of New Orleans, Louisiana. The $15.8-million, 65,000-square-foot rehabilitation hospital is located in the center of New Orleans in the Mid-City district.
The new facility will include a traumatic brain injury unit, concussion and Parkinson’s disease center of excellence, and inpatient and outpatient programs. Upscale hotel-like amenities are featured throughout the facility to enhance these patient-focused spaces, as well.
The two-story, sixty-bed facility is designed by Ascension Group Architects, and developed by Cobalt Medical Development, and is scheduled to open in 11 months.
