Former Shriner’s Hospital Transforms into Comprehensive Blood Cancer Healing Center

A facility in Ohio that was formerly a hospital for Shriner’s has been transformed into the Blood Cancer Healing Center, a new space for patients served by the University of Cincinnati Cancer Center. The existing masonry façade has been sealed and restored, preserving the building’s historical integrity while ensuring modern functionality. The facility offers every aspect of care — from inpatient and outpatient services to survivorship, integrative medicine, spiritual support and cutting-edge research — all under one roof. University of Kentucky Breaks Ground on Cancer and Advanced Ambulatory Building

The University of Kentucky broke ground on the new UK Cancer and Advanced Ambulatory Building, located across from UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. The 550,000-square-foot facility will become the new home to the UK Markey Cancer Center, the state’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, as well as a Comprehensive Spine Center, ambulatory surgery space and other outpatient services.  Read More …

Construction Begins on Freestanding Pediatric Behavioral Health Facility in Ohio

Construction has started on Dayton Children’s Hospital’s freestanding behavioral health building, located in Ohio.
