In 2025, Deborah Heart and Lung Center, located in Browns Mills, New Jersey, will unveil a new patient tower as part of an $108-million capital expansion and renovation project. The project coincides with the healthcare organization’s 100th-anniversary celebration. The project team includes EwingCole and Torcon.
A key feature of the patient tower project is a living wall, a vertical garden that adds a touch of nature to the hospital’s façade. However, integrating signage presented a unique challenge. Philadelphia Sign, part of the PSCO Sign Group, was selected as the signage partner. The team’s challenge was to design and install signage that would complement the living wall’s natural beauty and withstand the elements and potential water damage.
The final result is a stunning integration of nature and branding. With its sleek design and vibrant colors, the signage complements the living wall’s lush greenery. It serves as a key branding feature for Deborah Heart and Lung Center’s new patient tower, guiding patients and visitors to the facility.
