IIDA Announces Finalists of 14th Annual Global Excellence Awards
The International Interior Design Association has announced the finalists of the 2023 IIDA Global Excellence Awards, which honor innovation and creativity in international interior design and interior architecture projects across 15 categories.
The finalists were selected by a jury of design experts, including ALA founder and principal, Alda Ly; Studio BV founder and CEO, Betsy Vohs, Associate AIA; and Flad Architects interior designer, Sara Wolf, IIDA.
This year’s three healthcare finalists are:
Firm: HKS, Dallas
Project: Almoosa Specialist Hospital, Alfaisal Disctrict / Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia
Firm: Gensler, New York
Project: Acibadem Ataşehir Hospital, Children’s Pavilion & HQ, Ataşehir, Turkey
Firm: Perkins&Will in association with V Architecture, Atlanta
Project: Sabanera Health Center, Dorado, Puerto Rico
The IIDA Global Excellence Awards winners will be announced Dec. 11. All of the finalists’ projects can be viewed on IIDA.org and will be honored at a special celebration on Feb. 17 in Paris alongside the Global Excellence Awards winners and 2023 IIDA Best of Asia Pacific Design Awards winners. The Best of Competition winners for both competitions will also be revealed during the celebration.
