    Ground Broken for Emory Healthcare’s new Musculoskeletal Institute

    Ground was recently broken for Emory Healthcare’s new Musculoskeletal Institute located in Brookhaven, just northeast of Atlanta, Georgia.

    Hammes Company will serve as program manager for the new 180,000-square foot, LEED-certified facility, which will be a comprehensive, innovative, patient and family-centered facility providing orthopaedics and spine ambulatory care, physical therapy, imaging, ambulatory surgery, with clinical and discovery research support space.

    The project team also includes Brasfield & Gorrie General Contractors and HKS Architects.

    Construction on the new Emory Musculoskeletal Institute is anticipated to be completed in the second quarter of 2021.
