Brooks noted the project’s impact on the community, one of the largest redevelopment projects in the Rocky Mountain region. “The whole community is so excited to be able to use this building and use this facility,” said Brooks, before thanking the many people working on the project and turning the ceremony over to construction workers, who readied the beams to be raised by the tower crane. Signed by the construction workers and hospital associates, the beams were then raised to the structure’s highest point.
Mortenson Construction is the builder on the hospital. Major trade partners include US Engineering and Encore Electric. The design team includes Davis Partnership, H+L Architecture and ZGF as architects, Cator Ruma as mechanical/electrical engineer and Martin/Martin as civil/structural engineer.
