FORT COLLINS, Colo. — The Neenan Company has completed one project on California’s Central Coast and broken ground on two more for Community Health Centers of the Central Coast. The Neenan Company serves as the Design-Build partner for the three projects.
Completion of a 4,500-square-foot clinic in Arroyo Grande, California marks the sixth finalized project between CHC and The Neenan Company in the past six years. The Neenan Company redeveloped the former retail space into a clinic that features nine exam rooms including an X-ray. Opening as CHC’s third location in Arroyo Grande, the clinic provides primary care services.
The Design-Build company has also broken ground on a replacement clinic in Paso Robles, California, redeveloping a 21,290-square-foot portion of an existing retail facility. The replacement clinic will expand the healthcare provider’s capacity to serve the growing community with an updated and more accessible location for patients. The new clinic facility will offer primary care services, featuring 34 exam rooms, radiology services and a blood draw station. The project is anticipated for completion in early 2019.
Anticipated to break ground this month, The Neenan Company will lead the clinical expansion for CHC’s location in Nipomo, California. The Neenan Company originally delivered the Nipomo facility in 2012, with the core and shell of one module unfinished to account for this planned future expansion. The updated clinic will cover almost 28,000 square feet, providing an additional 5,000 square feet to support clinical services. Anticipated for completion in January 2019, the clinical expansion will provide additional parking and allow CHC to expand services to include optical and orthodontic care.
