OMAHA, Neb. – Officials recently broke ground on Children’s Hospital & Medical Center’s new $450- million, 10-story, 500,000-square-foot clinical facility.
During the event, the design as well as the new name were revealed. In recognition of the lead gift from the Theodore F. and Claire M. Hubbard Family Foundation, the new Hubbard Center for Children will not only improve but transform pediatric healthcare in the region and beyond. The launch of this project ushers in an exciting era of growth for the region’s pediatric healthcare leader.
Having operated at capacity in recent years, the new facility will include more than 70 inpatient beds with space to expand. In addition, Children’s plans to bring 100 pediatric specialists on board over the next four to five years.
