The groundbreaking kicks off the largest investment and improvement project in Alta View Hospital’s history and will impact most of the hospital’s major clinical departments over the next three years. The project is scheduled to be completed in late 2019.
The use of robots in the groundbreaking represents the fact that Alta View is here to set the pace for healthcare by using technology to improve the patient experience.
Alta View Hospital is an innovation center and test site in partnership with Intermountain Healthcare’s Transformation Lab and is incorporating new automated technologies to improve patient care at the bedside. Some of those technologies include digital whiteboards with touch-screen monitors and real-time location systems that help tract assets, vehicles and other objects in real time.
