Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital Renovations are Complete
CHICAGO, Ill. – CallisonRTKL has recently completed the expansion and renovation of Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Illinois. The firm provided architecture and interior design services to the community hospital’s 24,000-square-foot project. Pepper Construction Company served as general contractor. The construction took place while adjacent hospital functions remained fully operational.
The two-story renovation is the outcome of a successful planning effort, resulting in a new lobby on the north end of campus which connects with the existing south lobby via a newly imagined “mainstreet.” The addition provides shell space for future service line expansion to accommodate projected growth markets. The improved wayfinding is enhanced by the two-story lobbies providing abundant natural light, congruent finishes and visually consistent canopies at all public entrances.
The design of the newly renovated hospital upholds its commitment to deliver high-quality care through state-of-the-art technology, unwavering patient focus and seamless access to advanced services.
