ST. LOUIS, Mo. — SSM Health officials have selected Lawrence Group in partnership with Hammel, Green and Abrahamson as architects for the $500-million Saint Louis University Hospital construction project, announced on Sept. 1, 2015. The facilities, including a new hospital, ambulatory care center and academic support spaces, will be located in the immediate vicinity of the current hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Specific details and the timeline of this exciting endeavor are under development; however, the new hospital, ambulatory care center and academic support spaces are expected to be completed by September 2020.
On Nov. 3, SSM Health announced the selection of a planning architect Frank Zilm and Associates for the SSM Health Saint Louis University Medical Campus project. Frank Zilm and Associates will work in collaboration with Lawrence Group to incorporate the research findings and recommendations.
Lawrence Group has successfully partnered with SSM Health and Saint Louis University on numerous capital initiatives. HGA most recently partnered with Lawrence Group on the SSM Health St. Mary’s replacement hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri. They also served as lead architect on SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri. Both projects received national recognition as top healthcare projects after their completion.
