Stevens Construction Completes Landmark Hospital of Southwest Florida
FORT MYERS and NAPLES, Fla. — Stevens Construction has completed Landmark Hospital of Southwest Florida, a 50-bed, long-term acute care facility located in Naples, Florida.
Located at 1285 Creekside Blvd. E., the 86,676-square-foot, three-story hospital specializes in providing care to medically complex patients who benefit from an extended recovery time. Typical diagnoses include stroke, respiratory failure, post-surgical complications and complex wound care. The average length of stay is 25-30 days, and the majority of Landmark’s admissions come from short-term hospitals—typically from the intensive care and step-down units.
Landmark Hospital is a unique crescent-shaped structure constructed via the tilt-wall method. The first floor is shell space available for lease. The second floor of the hospital houses state-of-the-art operating rooms, conference rooms, CT scan, X-ray and administrative offices. The third floor features a ten-bed intensive care unit, ten-bed progressive care unit and 30 medical and surgical beds.
The Stevens Construction team included Dan Adams, LEED AP, senior project manager; Will Houser, project engineer; Stephen Hebden, superintendent and Kathryn Gomez, project administrator. Landmark Hospital was designed by Paul Macheske of HuntonBrady Architects.
