PASADENA, Calif. — DPR Construction recently broke ground on the new $60-million, state-of-the-art Shriners Hospitals for Children Medical Center in Pasadena, California, set to open in mid-2017.
The project will include demolition of two one-story existing structures and approximately 75,000 square feet of new construction, including three levels of subterranean parking with 250 stalls and green roof terraces.
“DPR Construction’s vision for the project is to construct a sustainable, innovative and technologically advanced outpatient medical facility that helps our customer transform children’s lives through exceptional healthcare,” said Ron Rendina, director of healthcare for DPR Construction, Southern California.
