Project Team Selected for Comprehensive Pediatric Behavioral Health Campus in Los Angeles
HOK and McCarthy Building Companies have been selected by Kedren Community Health Center to design and construct a comprehensive children’s inpatient and outpatient behavioral health campus in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.
Kedren Children’s Village will provide psychiatric inpatient, outpatient and urgent care, transitional housing units and primary care as a federally qualified health center. The holistic approach to care prioritizes pediatric well-being and community health in an underserved region of the city. A timeline for the project (groundbreaking, anticipated completion date) has not been released.
The project will emphasize environmental sustainability, community health and stability.
