SolutionHealth, Acadia Healthcare Form Joint Venture to Build Behavioral Health Hospital in Southeast New Hampshire
The Board of Trustees of SolutionHealth, parent organization of Elliot Health System and Southern New Hampshire Health, has formed a joint venture with Acadia Healthcare, a provider of behavioral healthcare services across the U.S., to build a new behavioral health hospital in southeast New Hampshire.
This $60-million investment in the community will increase access to specialty behavioral healthcare. The new hospital will have 144 beds and a full array of inpatient behavioral health programs and will be carefully designed, creating a therapeutic and welcoming environment for patients, staff and clinicians.
This project will also be supported by $15 million in state funding from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services to defray capital costs for the construction of the new hospital.
Elliot Health System and Southern New Hampshire Health have long been supporting the healthcare needs of residents by offering inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services. This joint venture will more than double the inpatient capacity offered by these organizations.
