Intermountain Layton Hospital Breaks Ground on New Ambulatory Surgery Center

Intermountain Layton Hospital hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking for a new ambulatory surgery center that will enhance efficient and affordable outpatient surgical care in Davis County, Utah.

The ambulatory surgery center will be nearly 18,000 square feet and include four out-patient operating rooms. The facility is designed to add two extra operating rooms in the future as need expands. Each outpatient operating room can handle 1200 surgeries annually.

The surgery center is scheduled to open in early 2024.
