KDC served as a development consultant on the recently completed Jubilee Park Community Clinic in Southeast Dallas, Texas. The nonprofit clinic is a joint venture between Jubilee Park & Community Center, Parkland Health and Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas. The facility was planned and developed by KDC, Kirksey and Rogers-O’Brien.
The 15,000-square-foot, two-story community clinic will help lessen a physician shortage and expand healthcare access throughout a 62-block neighborhood. This area was identified in the 2019 Parkland Community Heath Needs Assessment as an area with significant health disparities. The clinic is designed to meet the community’s health needs and is projected to serve 3,500 patients in its first year and about 7,000 patients each following year.
The project kicked off in May 2021 and was completed in early September.
The Jubilee Community Clinic facilitates a variety of medical services, including a primary medical and dental clinic staffed by Parkland Hospital. Additionally, low-income residents will have access to a free mental and behavioral clinic in partnership with the Jewish Family Service of Dallas and free programs supporting nutrition and fitness by the Jubilee Park & Community Center.
