Acadia Healthcare Company Inc.’s new addition to Rio Vista Behavioral Health Hospital in El Paso, Texas topped out, marking the construction midpoint.
The 52,000-square-foot addition includes two new behavioral hospital units totaling 40 additional beds, outdoor recreation spaces, a new ground-up one-story outpatient center and 14,000 square feet of added parking. The project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2023.
The behavioral health hospital offers comprehensive care for men, women and children struggling with mental health and substance abuse concerns. The facility provides inpatient services tailored to each patient’s individual needs on their path to recovery.
The project team includes Adolfson & Peterson Construction and Stengel Hill Architects.
