Corona Regional Medical Center Breaks Ground on Addition, Supports Future Growth
Universal Health Services recently began construction on an expansion to the Corona Rehab Hospital, located in Corona, California, which will add 21 skilled nursing beds and bring the total capacity to 99 rehabilitation beds.
Designed by Carrier Johnson and built by Kitchell, the freestanding addition will consist of nine double and three single rooms that will connect to the existing Corona Rehab Hospital via a covered canopy.
The expansion will encompass a nurses’ station, recreation/dining room and staff lounge within 11,000 square feet.
The facility will support current and future growth of the medical center campus.
