Ground was recently broken for the Hackensack University Medical Center 2nd Street Pavilion in New Jersey. The 2nd Street Pavilion will be constructed on and will span across 2nd Street between the existing Patient Pavilion and the Don Imus-WFAN Pediatric Center for Tomorrows Children.
The $714-million, nine-story, 530,000-square-foot project will showcase 24 new operating rooms including an interoperative MRI, a 50-bed intensive care unit
with a dedicated CT scanner, 150 medical-surgical beds including a 50-bed orthopedic center and support spaces including a new sterile processing department.
RSC Architects is the lead architect partnered with EYP Architects. Stantec Consulting is providing project management services/owner’s representative services for the overall project. The W.M. Blanchard and Turner Construction Company has created a joint venture to provide construction management services for the project.
