The new hospital under construction in Marana, Arizona now has a name: Carondelet Marana Hospital. Carondelet Health Network officials expect the hospital to open early this summer.
Carondelet Marana Hospital will focus on providing emergency care and select inpatient procedures. It will include a 14-bed emergency department, two operating rooms and eight inpatient rooms, along with additional outpatient services.
The hospital’s ED will be open 24/7 and staffed by board-certified emergency physicians. Additional planned services will include a laboratory and diagnostic imaging including X-ray, computed tomography and ultrasound.
Located on a 3.5-acre site, the 32,500-square-foot hospital is expected to offer quality jobs in STEM fields with approximately 50 full-time equivalent clinical and support staff jobs.
More than 100 community leaders attended the hospital’s groundbreaking this past summer.
