GREENWOOD, Ind. – Doster Construction Company was recently selected to renovate the former Kindred Hospital Indianapolis South in Greenwood, Indiana.
The new facility will be known as Community Health Network Rehabilitation Hospital South and is a joint venture between Kindred Healthcare and Community Health Network. The $4.5-million project includes renovating the now closed three-story 56,250-square-foot long-term acute care facility into a new 44-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital, complete with a state-of-the art physical therapy gym, 100 percent private patient rooms, 12-bed locked acquired brain injury unit and dedicated brain injury gym.
Doster Construction will head up this project as general contractor, Kindred Healthcare, Inc. is the owner and Hereford Dooley Architects is the architect of record.
