REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Tutor Perini Corporation’s subsidiary, Rudolph and Sletten, has been awarded a Design-Build contract by the University of California, San Francisco, for the construction of a new Precision Cancer Medicine Building at UCSF Mission Bay. The contract value is undisclosed.

The project scope of work includes construction of a new six-story, 170,000-square-foot adult outpatient cancer center.

This Design-Build project will be built by Rudolph and Sletten in a partnership with Stantec, who is providing the design services. The majority of the contract value will be included in the company’s backlog early next year, ahead of the start of construction, which is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2017. The building is expected to open for patients in the spring of 2019.
