    Skanska, Gates Construction Joint Venture to Expand Gulf Coast Medical Center

    Skanska has signed a contract with Lee Memorial Health System to expand and renovate the Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, Florida. The total contract value is $200 million.

    The project, 366,000 square feet of new construction and about 48,000 square feet of renovations, will include three additional floors along with numerous horizontal expansions. Additionally, a 1,300-space parking structure will be built.

    The project is slated for completion in February 2021.
