CHICAGO, Ill. — The Presence Center for Advanced Care on the campus of Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, is now open.
The 380,000-square-foot, patient-focused facility comprises three floors of ambulatory care, three floors of medical offices, a 350-car parking garage, a multidisciplinary orthopedic center with a rehab gym, state-of-the-art surgery facilities and a comprehensive cancer center that houses radiation therapy, medical oncology, infusion therapy and holistic therapies.
The Presence Center for Advanced Care also features advanced and women’s imaging suites that include 3T MRI, PET CT, low-dose 3-D mammography and digital X-ray. The hospital also consolidated its orthopedic and outpatient surgery facilities.
Nature-inspired spaces are incorporated throughout the facility to reduce stress and promote healing in patients. A range of smart technologies are implemented making the new building completely digital.
The Presence Center for Advanced Care celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting on Sept. 9. Archbishop Blase J. Cupich, Archbishop of Chicago, provided the blessing of the 10-story outpatient building. 44th Ward Alderman Tom Tunney, Sandra Bruce, CEO of Presence Health, Dr. Roberta Luskin-Hawk, CEO of Presence St. Joseph, members of Hammes Company and members of the RTKL design team also attended the celebration. The facility began treating patients last week.
