CHICAGO, Ill. — Reed Construction was selected to complete an 11,250-square-foot remodel of the Acute Care Rehabilitation Center at MacNeal Hospital, located at 3249 South Oak Park Ave. in Berwyn, Illinois. Work is slated to begin this month.
Reed Construction will perform a demolition and complete rebuild of the 427-bed rehab facility, which will include updates to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems along with all the finishes. This project also involves upgrading a major portion of the base bid electrical infrastructure. Renovations will be completed on an expedited schedule, with substantial completion targeted for early September.
Senior Project Manager Rich Melone is leading the construction team for Reed. Architectural services will be provided by MRF, Ltd. and interior design services will be provided by In.design, inc.
