TAMPA, Fla. — ARCO/Murray Construction Company has been awarded the lobby expansion and renovations at Memorial Hospital in Tampa, Florida. The lobby will be expanded by 1,000 square feet into an existing courtyard and renovated with new finishes while the hospital maintains normal operations.
The upgraded lobby finishes will include decorative aluminum wall panels, polyester resin feature walls and reception desk, impact-resistant storefront windows and doors and porcelain tile flooring. The project also includes structural upgrades to allow for a future second-floor addition above the lobby.
“Memorial Hospital welcomes more than 4,400 patients and their families each year,” said Danton Carballa, ARCO/Murray project manager. “It is important that we create a space that is both beautiful and functional to best serve the community.”
