JUPITER, Fla. — Haskell celebrated the “topping out” of the Florence A. De George Pavilion, the 81,000-square-foot, three-story, 44-bed addition for Jupiter Medical Center.
The Florence A. De George Pavilion includes a new dining facility on the ground floor that will serve the entire hospital, as well as the new addition. The second and third floors are dedicated to the Anderson Family Orthopedic & Spine Center and Florence A. De George Children’s & Women’s Healthcare Services, respectively. The event marked a significant milestone in the delivery of the new hospital addition. The addition will allow Jupiter Medical Center to continue their tradition of providing world-class healthcare to the residents of Jupiter and the surrounding region.

Couris, president & CEO of Jupiter Medical Center.
Nearly 200 invited guests – including hospital physicians and team members, leadership and community leaders – were invited to sign the final beam in a rainbow of colors before it was put in place. In keeping with a long-standing tradition of the topping out ceremony, the beam carried with it an evergreen tree and an American flag.
