COLLEGE STATION, Texas — MEMdata announced it has been chosen to provide equipment planning services to the U.S. Army in South Korea in support of the U.S. Army Medical Command’s medical military construction program. The contract was awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center. Working alongside prime contractor VW International, Inc., MEMdata will assist with the initial outfitting and transition activities during the relocation of numerous Army medical, dental, veterinary, administrative, command and logistics facilities to Camp Humphreys as part of the Yongsan Relocation Plan and Land Partnership Plan under ongoing United States and Republic of Korea treaty agreements.
MEMdata’s contract with VW International, Inc. continues its history of comprehensive medical facility equipment planning and procurement services for the Department of Defense and Veterans Administration. Under this newly announced contract, MEMdata shall assist in the equipment planning for the multi-phase relocation of an Army Community Hospital, twelve troop medical clinics, two dental clinics, optometry clinics, three veterinary clinics and numerous additional medical facilities located across the Korean peninsula.
