KLMK Group, Inc. and Southeast Alabama Medical Center, located in Dothan, Ala., announce the Ribbon Cutting for Phase III of SAMC’s Heart & Vascular Center.

Phase III is a major milestone in the project as it provides a new dedicated entrance connected to the hospital’s Women’s Center, a waiting area along with rooms for stress tests, echocardiograms and nuclear medicine.

The SAMC hospital expansion and renovation project, which began in 2010, has completed three of its four project phases:

Phase I – New cardiac catheterization labs with 3-D imaging Phase 2 – Completion of first 28 beds of a 47 bed IU/Observation Unit Phase 3 – Completion of new Heart & Vascular Entrance, Registration/Waiting Area and Non-Invasive Unit containing rooms for stress tests, echocardiograms and nuclear medicine Phase 4 – Remaining 19 beds of the 47 bed IU/Observation Unit

KLMK Group has been providing program management services for all phases of the project. The firm has been involved since launch and continues to provide activation, post occupancy and closeout services.

The Heart and Vascular Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held Feb. 28. Phase 4 of the project is scheduled to open in late July 2012.
