CHICAGO, Ill. — Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Delaware, is the 2014 recipient of the Excellence in Health Care Facility Management award from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering.
The award, sponsored by Trane, recognizes an individual or facility management department that has implemented new or innovative programs or processes. The Environment of Care Committee at Beebe Healthcare worked to develop a comprehensive spreadsheet tool that tracked compliance information during environmental tours. Fried, FACHE, president and CEO of Beebe Healthcare.
The award was presented at the end of October at ASHE’s Leadership Institute in Arizona.
The team involved in the project includes:
- Sandy McCurdy, CHFM, manager of facilities, Beebe Healthcare
