Page, an international architecture, engineering and consulting firm, announced David Morgareidge has joined the organization as an associate principal and predictive analytics director. He is overseeing a dedicated effort to introduce predictive analytics to the work across the firm’s various market sectors, including healthcare.
“While the Page Strategic Consulting group has been using quantitative analytical techniques for almost two decades, the addition of predictive analytics expertise brings new dimensions to this capability,” said Page Senior Principal Mattia Flabiano III, AIA. “David brings a long history of innovation in this area, and an experienced understanding of how predictive analytics can elevate the success of the designs we develop for our clients.”
His approach fosters deep and rich collaboration among all project stakeholders and facilitates informed, cost-effective decisions which have yielded returns on investment ranging from 10:1 to 20:1, with two engagements resulting in multi-million dollar construction cost savings. Nearly all of his clients have become repeat customers, including the U.S. Department of Defense, for whom he is now developing simulation policy guidelines for the entire Military Health System.
Morgareidge graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a bachelor’s degree in architecture with honors. He began his architectural career designing buildings, but switched his focus to developing integrated digital modeling environments that support the rapid, parametric analysis and optimization of building performance. Morgareidge later founded and served as CEO of a performance consulting firm and served as CIO of an A/E firm. During the last decade, he has also been a prolific author and speaker on operational modeling and digital simulation.
