Veteran business developer to manage client relationships in the western U.S.
LOS ANGELES — Jessie Robertson, a 20-year architecture industry veteran, has joined international architecture, planning, and design firm RTKL as a principal in the Los Angeles office. In her new position, she is responsible for healthcare business development in the western United States.
“The western region of the US and specifically California is a very important market to RTKL, and it requires an in-depth understanding of the unique issues that drive healthcare planning and design in this important region,” emphasized Brad Barker, AIA, RTKL executive vice president and managing director of the firm’s Health + Science Practice Group. “Jessie has extensive healthcare experience and is known for her in-depth market analysis and business growth strategy capabilities. We are pleased to welcome her to the RTKL team.”
Robertson joins RTKL from HGA Architects and Engineers where she worked closely with the higher education and healthcare industries. Prior to that, she worked in business development for HOK.
A founding board member of the Lean Construction Institute’s Los Angeles chapter, she is also the 2011 president-elect of the Southern California Development Forum. Her involvement in professional associations also includes the Hospital Association of Southern California, Los Angeles Headquarters Association, and California Hospital Association.
