DALLAS, Texas — Shelly Wright R.N., MHA has joined RTKL Dallas as an associate vice president. With more than 20 years of operational process improvement experience, Wright is a recognized leader in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and will strengthen RTKL’s ability to provide a seamless approach for healthcare facilities on the move.
“Shelly’s experience and Six Sigma training will be a valuable resource for both the transition planning team and our clients,” says Executive Vice President and Global Health Practice Leader Brad Barker. “Her analytical approach to solving complex process issues and ability to implement solutions will ensure that our clients’ facilities open on time and on budget and function efficiently.”
Wright joins RTKL from Eden Medical Center, a Sutter Health affiliate, where she was instrumental in improving business processes and facilitating forward-thinking business strategies through the use of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. She has a vast array of project experience, including improving emergency department patient flow and length of stay, design of hospitals and palliative care programs and medical/surgical medication error reduction.
RTKL’s Health Facility Transitioning team is a specialized group within the healthcare practice. The firm has addressed the challenges associated with moving into a new facility by creating a unique team, led by nurses that have an expert experience in clinical operations and move logistics. By working alongside hospital leadership and staff, the group is able to facilitate a smooth transition with little impact on day-to-day operations.
