“We are delighted to announce the addition of two stellar individuals to our leadership team, particularly as our firm’s 40th anniversary approaches next year,” said Don Powell, principal of BOKA Powell.  “Michael Arvin’s industry expertise will ensure continued growth of our healthcare practice, which has recently included work for Forest Park Medical Center, Methodist Health System, JPS Health Network and the Parkland clinic at Hatcher Station.”

With 25 years of experience leading healthcare organizations, Arvin’s strengths include strategic planning, healthcare development, program management, facility master planning and new facility development. Arvin previously held leadership roles with Alliance Strategic Health Advisors, Methodist Health System, Tenet Healthcare, HCA and US Oncology.

A frequent speaker on success in the changing healthcare landscape, Arvin has been recognized by Nightingale Publications’ Southwest Healthcare Transactions Conference as an “Executive to Watch” and is a Fellow with the Rice Building Institute at Rice University. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

“As Brenda Hedrick has been actively involved in the North Texas commercial real estate industry for over 15 years, she is an ideal person to lead BOKA Powell’s growth and development efforts, and continue to position our firm for success in a changing industry,” continued Powell.

Hedrick joins BOKA Powell from her previous post as vice president, business development, for construction firm James R. Thompson, Inc. Previously, Hedrick served as the director of acquisition and disposition for Oakmont Capital Group, where she concentrated in market research, analytics and marketing to manage the firm’s real estate assets. She is an active member in professional organizations including CoreNet Southwest and TEXO, and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California State University-Chico.
