    Dumser Joins CannonDesign as Vice President

    CHICAGO, Ill. — CannonDesign announced that Julie Dumser has joined CannonDesign as vice president and advisory services consultant.

    Julie pic 2_RWith a career that spans 30+ years as a perioperative nurse in the healthcare profession, Dumser brings to the firm experience that includes direct patient care, healthcare operations, nursing administration and executive leadership within inpatient and ambulatory settings.

    Her new position with the Advisory Services team will focus on ensuring that care delivery innovations and clinical and operational best practices are strategically integrated into every healthcare project.

    A certified Lean professional and a Six Sigma Green Belt, Dumser promotes the use of process improvement tools to develop clinically efficient environments.

    Prior to joining CannonDesign, Dumser served as manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she led strategic and operational planning efforts for the Health Advisory Practice. Her primary focus was developing organization, governance and operational structures for joint venture and free-standing ambulatory surgery centers, as well as hospital outpatient departments. In previous roles, she has managed electronic health record systems and developed supply chain management innovations.

    A member of the American Nurses Association and the Ambulatory Surgery Association, Dumser holds both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master’s of Science in Management from Colorado Technical University.
