MENASHA, Wis. — Faith Technologies has been recognized by The Associated General Contractors (of Wisconsin as a 2013 Build Wisconsin Award winner for their work on Affinity Clinic, located in Neenah, Wis. The project was selected as a winning entry in the specialty contractor – electrical category.
Affinity Medical Group’s replacement facility, a new two-story, 32,000-square-foot building was built to accommodate both a medical clinic and urgent care services. The project was completed in November 2012, and Faith Technologies was responsible for electrical and specialty systems work. The building, which is pending a LEED Gold rating by the U.S. Green Building Council, was constructed with a focus on sustainable methods and materials.
“It is truly an honor to have been recognized by AGC of Wisconsin for our work on the Affinity Clinic,” said Keith Verstegen, branch manager – Appleton. “At Faith Technologies, we take pride in being able to deliver high-quality results for our clients. With this project specifically, we were able to focus on energy efficiency while reducing maintenance costs. Being recognized for our efforts is something to be celebrated.”
The judging panel for this year’s awards was comprised of industry professionals including an architect, engineer, facility owner/manager, city building official and university professor. Award entries were evaluated based on sustainable practices; unusual design and craftsmanship; innovations in construction techniques or materials; meeting difficult challenges and earning client satisfaction.
Faith Technologies was honored at the 11th annual Build Wisconsin Awards program at Truax Gateway at Madison College on Thursday, Oct. 10. There were 28 winners recognized in 13 different categories. This year was the ninth year Faith Technologies received an AGC Build Wisconsin award.
