Several healthcare team members have been promoted to new leadership positions at Goodwyn Mills Cawood. Led by Vice President of Healthcare Steve Alby, AIA, the firm’s national healthcare practice has experienced significant growth over the past several years. Clint Cassetty, Ashley Congemi, Jack Monroe and Nathan Arceneaux have been named regional practice leaders for their respective geographies throughout the Southeast.

With GMC’s acquisition of Cassetty Architects in Nashville, Tenn., in 2025, Cassetty was appointed as the healthcare regional practice leader for Tennessee. Cassetty has 35 years of experience and founded his own firm in 1988.

Congemi will lead as the healthcare regional practice leader for the Gulf Coast. Congemi has international experience after spending five years in Dubai, China and Egypt designing healthcare facilities. Her other 15 years of experience have led her to work on some of the firm’s largest healthcare projects throughout the Southeast.

Monroe is serving as the central Florida healthcare regional practice leader. Monroe has been in the industry for 23 years and is known for his meticulous approach to healthcare design. His wealth of knowledge and passion for providing patients and staff with optimal care elevate his proven track record in the Central Florida region.

Arceneaux will serve as healthcare regional practice leader for Alabama. He has over a decade of architectural design experience with a focus on healthcare planning and has contributed to some of the largest healthcare projects in the Southeast.

In addition, the firm identified three key individuals to lead the technical and operational aspects of the healthcare practice. Anne Kellerman has six years of experience and is now GMC’s healthcare interior architecture leader after excelling on various projects. Paul Fridl is the healthcare practice quality leader with 48 years of experience as a project architect with a keen focus on construction documents. David Connick has 30 years of combined experience in healthcare operations and architecture, making him a great fit to lead healthcare operations.
