Jose Prado, AIA, NCARB, has joined Perkins&Will’s North Carolina studio to lead its healthcare practice. With a career dedicated to healthcare design, Prado brings a solutions-oriented leadership style focused on collaboration, clarity and the human experience. Previously with Gresham Smith, he has delivered complex healthcare projects for clients including University of Miami Health System, Baptist Health South Florida, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Jackson Health System.
Brandon Walter, AIA, LEED AP, has been recently appointed as Senior Medical Planner supporting the North Carolina studio. Walter has been with Perkins&Will since 2008 and brings more than 20 years of healthcare planning experience. He has helped shape over 20 million square feet of healthcare environments worldwide, from community clinics to major academic medical centers, and is known for translating clinical and operational goals into functional, healing-focused design solutions.
