SPMT Group, a healthcare planning, design and construction consulting services firm, has recruited Michael “Mike” Wood, SASHE, CHC, as its senior vice president of strategic initiatives. Wood joins the executive team in this newly created position to drive long-term growth. He will establish the firm’s second office in Colorado.
Wood has over 40 years of healthcare experience leading national and international organizations, including numerous Fortune 500 healthcare organizations with complex capital projects totaling over $30 billion. He most recently served as vice president of design and construction at Medxcel. He held earlier program management and facilities roles with Oldcastle Building Solutions, Heery International and Kaiser Permanente.
